Release 6/19/18: Updates to Assets, Invoices, Reminders and more

    Here is a compilation of the recent updates we’ve made to Syncro. As always, if you have any questions or feedback. Please get in touch with us at help@syncromsp.com

     

      1. Assets & Tickets: You can now more efficiently create and/or add Assets to Tickets within the Ticket creation flow, as well as more easily with work added Assets on the Ticket Details page after a Ticket has been created. Find out more in our blog post here.
      2. Policies: You can now clone policies in Syncro! To find out more, click here.
      3. Syncro Live: We’ve updated the user experience when using the File Download function in Syncro Live. Find out more here.



      4. Mailbox: We’ve improved the process for working with Email Rules within Syncro’s Mailbox module, making it more efficient to add domains and edit Email Rules. View more information here.



      5. Assets: We’ve added a new field to Asset Saved Search to help you track Assets that have been offline for a certain number of days. To find out more, read this blog post.
      6. Assets: We changed the Assets table to make the Quick View modal more visible. We also added the ability to view and run “Favorited” scripts within the Quick View modal, and made it easier to accomplish Asset-related tasks straight from within this popup!       7. Invoices: Invoices now have a clearer indication on when they are paid and overdue to make it easier to notice at a glance.  Now, when you view an invoice, there will be a green stamp if the invoice is paid, and a red stamp if the invoice is overdue.
      8. Reminders: You now have the ability to edit reminders in Syncro!
      9. Customer Portal: We added the ability for you to allow Customers to run select scripts through the Customer Portal. Find out more here.
      10. Syncro Live: We’ve added support for touch input when using Syncro Live on a tablet or mobile device. 
      11. Leads: When a customer replies to a Lead, the Lead status now automatically changes to “Customer Reply” (before no status change was made). 
      12. Parts: Tickets are now updated when a part order has been marked as arrived!  Now, part orders attached to a ticket will leave a private ticket comment with a subject of “Parts Arrival”. 
      13. Parts: Tickets are also updated when a new part order is made!  When part order is made for a ticket, a private ticket comment with the subject “Parts Order” will be automatically created. 
      14. GDPR: We added new functionality to help you become compliant with your clients if your account is based in the EU. To find out more, start here. 
      15. GDPR: SMS communications are now included in the business emails consent. If a customer declines business emails, you will not be able to enable SMS for them. This does not retroactively update customers to disable SMS if they have previously declined business emails, and SMS may still be disabled by you or by our system if a message is undeliverable. 
      16. Emsisoft Managed Antivirus: Emsisoft now offers tiered pricing! Find out more here. 
      17. Emsisoft Managed Antivirus: We adjusted the user experience so that when MAV is disabled on a Syncro device, the user will no longer be notified (i.e. silent uninstall). 
      18. Online Dashboard: Syncro’s Online Dashboard was not showing recent activity from the Windows Agent. This included multiple areas, such as Managed AV scans, 3rd party patch updates, and more. The issue was purely cosmetic, as the agent actually was performing properly. This has been patched, and activity should now be visible on the dashboard. 
      19. Bug fix: Customer managed antivirus report pricing was updated to reflect Emsisoft Managed Antivirus price change.
