It’s Official: Syncro Is a Great Place to Work!

I’m proud to announce that Syncro is Great Place to Work-Certified! This remarkable designation highlights the commitment of every team member to inspire an engaging, healthy, and rewarding workplace culture where everyone feels a sense of belonging and empowerment.

Great Place to Work grants companies certification based on the results from an experience survey. Every Syncro employee received this survey and was asked to respond anonymously, rating our workplace on key factors such as credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie.

So, why exactly are we a great place to work?

We uphold shared values.

We formed our values after deep thought and discussion and regularly re-group to ensure they’re the most important principles. To ensure we stay true to our values, we hold ourselves and each other accountable to them:

  • Do what’s right and the rest will follow
  • Find solutions beyond trade-offs
  • Enjoy the ride together
  • Be fearlessly you
  • You belong
  • Nurture your sprouts

Learn more about what our values mean on Our Company page.

We’re dedicated to diversity and inclusion.

Syncro is a culture where we celebrate both our similarities and differences. Through company-wide training and ongoing conversations, we deepen our understanding and practice of diversity and inclusion.

We welcome people of all ages, stages, and backgrounds to join the Syncro team. We especially invite Black, Indigenous, and people of color, LGBTQ+ people, veterans, seniors, and people with disabilities to apply.

We align closely on goals and objectives.

We craft clear company-wide and departmental goals at the start of the year and each quarter. They aren’t created in a vacuum, but rather, through collaborative brainstorming, discussion, drafting, and refining. Our leaders present the objectives to the entire company and touch base on progress throughout the quarter so that everyone is on the same page and sees the role they play in not only their own department’s success but also Syncro as a whole. We celebrate our wins and acknowledge when we need to pull harder.

We’re open and transparent.

In addition to sharing our goals and objectives during weekly all-company meetings, we encourage transparency in other ways. Our team members can ask questions of our CEO Emily Glass anonymously through a Google Form so that everyone feels comfortable seeking information about any topic. She answers the questions she receives in her weekly update on Slack. This allows us to maintain a free flow of two-way communication at all times.

We love our partners.

Our #customer-love Slack channel is constantly flowing with awesome interactions we’ve had with our MSP partners. Our partners keep us educated, motivated, and inspired— whether we’re helping them find a solution to heal their persistent pain points, walking them through setup, answering questions, or listening to their feedback.

We’re human.

How would I describe our team members? Here are just a handful of words that come to mind that showcase our qualities:

  • Human
  • Empathetic
  • Approachable
  • Respectful
  • Friendly
  • Humorous
  • Pragmatic
  • Trustworthy
  • Ethical
  • Curious

Syncro acknowledges the full person.

In addition to a holistic medical and financial benefits package, Syncro goes above and beyond to make life a little easier and more fun for everyone. Have you heard about our recurring pop-up wellness days, lightning talks, or affinity groups? We always invite people to share their passions with the rest of the team, whether it’s through a presentation or in a related Slack channel.
