Hey Syncro Users,
We hope you’re enjoying another productive day!
Today we are bringing you a quick, but mighty useful addition to Syncro’s RMM. We’ve added a new section to the Policy setup page called “Resource Usage Alerts,” which includes 2 new fields you can use to monitor CPU and Memory usage over a period of time of your choosing.
With this update, you can easily create RMM alerts via Policies based on a device’s average CPU or Memory usage, giving you an accurate way to set thresholds of your choosing.
To set this up, log into your Syncro account and head to the Policies section. Then:
- Open an existing Policy to edit or create a new Policy using the “New Policy” button in the top right-hand corner of the page.
- Complete and/or edit the appropriate fields in the form, taking note of the newly added “Resource Usage Alerts” section toward the middle of the page.
- Use the “Alert when CPU usage is over” and “Alert when MEMORY usage is over” fields in order to set the thresholds you’d like to use for the particular Policy you are editing or creating.
- Complete and/or edit the remaining fields, making sure to click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
In order to view the newly added RMM alerts for high CPU or Memory usage, make your way over to the “RMM Alerts” section of your Syncro account and look for the “CPU monitoring” or “RAM monitoring” alerts.
Additionally, we have recently added RMM alerts to the “Recent Activity” section of the Asset details page to make these easier to access.
We hope you enjoy these updates. If you have any questions, please email us at help@syncromsp.com. Happy monitoring!
Cheers,
The Syncro Team
