Today we’re rolling out a small update to our estimates module. We’ve long had a little known feature that allows you to create a new ticket from an estimate, and carry over all of the estimate’s charges to the newly created ticket automatically.
However, what happens in the event that a customer calls you with a request, you open a ticket on their behalf, and then you generate an estimate? Until today, once that estimate was approved, you’d then have to add those items to the linked ticket manually. For those that process a significant amount of estimates daily, this equated to a lot of additional work.
Well, we’re happy to report that we’re solving this for you today by adding a new action on estimates that carries over all charges to a linked ticket with a single click! Check out the video above to see this update in action.
