September 15, 2021 Release Notes for Syncro RMM & PSA

We’ve closed (and continue closing) a wide array of bugs which we’ve detailed below:

Tickets and Invoices

Improvement: We improved the performance and response time of the Ticket Index page.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where duplicate charges were added to the same Ticket if the user quickly clicks ‘Add to Invoice’ button multiple times.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where creating multiple Part Orders on the Ticket Detail page was not properly linking them to Invoices created from the ticket. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where Ticket Charges added to an Invoice that was deleted were not being made available on the ticket at the time of deletion. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where deleting an invoice with many pages of line items would cause a 504 error. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where Ticket Workflows were not saving and creating new tickets as a result of required fields set in Ticket Preferences but not accessible in Ticket Workflows

Bug fix: We fixed a permissions issue where non-global admins were unable to “run now” on Recurring Invoice Schedules. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue in the Recurring Tickets module where the “Additional Email Addresses to notify for comments” field would not accept multiple, comma-separated email addresses.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where in rare cases deleting the ticket associated with an active ticket ticker would result in an error when signing in. 

Xero

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where some accounts were unable to complete syncs with Xero.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with our API where duplicate requests were being sent to Xero resulting in duplicate bills being created. 

Reports

Improvement: We added pagination to the Open Balances by Customer Report to easily view all open customer balances without having to export to CSV.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Executive Summary Report Builder where the Remote Access Module would not populate the “All Remote Access Sessions” metric correctly.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Internal Report Builder where PDF’s were not correctly rendering visual blocks. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the Internal Report Builder would fail to load if the ‘All Customers’ option was unchecked but a single customer was not specified. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue in the Internal Report Builder where users were unable to select a template when creating a Scheduled Report.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Executive Summary Report where the Script Statistics visual block did not filter by customer as expected.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Executive Summary Report where the Tickets Report was not loading successfully.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Executive Summary Report where the Labor Hours visual block set to a 12-month period would not filter by customer as expected.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the Inventory Changes by Date Report would not successfully.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the Performance+ Report would fail to download.

Payments and Customer Portal

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where attempting to pay multiple invoices in the Customer Portal would result in an error. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue when making payment in the Customer Portal where selecting the Pay Now option for an Invoice would not automatically carry over the balance due and it would have to be entered manually. 

 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the Customer Portal would fail to load for some customers.

 Bug fix: We fixed in the POS where credit card payments were not respecting the Settings of “Prevent Payment if serial numbers aren’t selected”. 

 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where rearranging Payment Methods would not save and they would revert to their default order. 

Assets and Policies

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where time of day for Script Schedules is not visible on Policies.

 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the SNMP tab on Asset detail pages would intermittently fail to load.

 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where Splashtop was not properly installing upon agent deployment for some Policies

 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the SycroWipeScript was not working correctly when attempting to uninstall a MSI package. 

 Bug fix: We removed LINUX from the Operating System dropdown in Saved Asset Search since it is not supported. 

Calendars 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Office 365 Calendar integration where Private Appointments created in Office 365 would sync over with appointment details.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Google Calendar integration where events would take up to 24 hours to sync over.

Miscellaneous

Bug fix: We fixed an issue in Mailer where saving social links would result in an error. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with the Automated Remediation module where the Agent Offline Category condition would not run when using the “Is” operator.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with AutoPrinter v1 where authentication would fail at login.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue in the Contacts section of the Customer Detail page where the Search field only returned results for the current page when multiple pages of contacts exist.

 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the Purchase Orders Advanced Search options would clear after each search, making it time consuming to refine searches.

 Bug fix: We fixed an issue where purchasing additional SMS Credits was not adding them to the account even though the charge was processed.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue with Inventory imports not recognizing Product Upsells when importing via CSV.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where editing Password Vault fields would refresh the page when using enter instead of clicking the mouse. 

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where the Product Cost field was accepting non-numeric values.

Bug fix: We fixed an issue where uploading .webp format was causing broken images in the app.
