Precision Billing: Set Your
Minimums, Increments & Custom Rules
Set a Minimum Time Entry
Protect your profitability. Instantly establish a floor for labor charges, ensuring critical administrative costs, prep time, or travel are always accounted for.
Define Incremental Time Blocks
Optimize billing for longer tasks. Define clear rounding rules that ensure you bill for every minute of incremental work, directly boosting your effective hourly rate without manually adjusting logs.
Maximum Flexibility Per Labor Type
Align billing to service cost. Apply different rules to different services, e.g., a higher minimum for On-Site vs. Remote Support, to match the complexity and cost of delivery for maximum revenue precision.

Integrate Profitability Into Every Ticket
Eliminate Wasted Time and Context Switching
Your techs only need to log the Actual Time spent in the Ticket Timer or Labor Log. The system instantly handles all compliance and calculation, applying the Minimum Billable Time Rules in the background.
Guarantee Revenue Capture and Data Accuracy
Say goodbye to the costly guesswork and errors associated with manual time rounding. Syncro’s logic automatically enforces all minimum and incremental rules, ensuring that every job is fully billed and every time entry aligns perfectly with your established billing policies.
Protect Your Profits and Maintain Financial Compliance
The dual record of Actual Time vs. Billable Time creates an unchallengable internal audit trail. This gives you the visibility to spot discrepancies, correct tech-logged time, or manually approve exceptions, ensuring every invoice is 100% accurate before it reaches the client.

This feature allows you to set customized billing rules for different types of work (labor types) within your Syncro PSA. You can define a minimum required time entry and a specific time increment for rounding, ensuring consistent and profitable billing.
In Syncro, navigate to Admin > Tickets – Labor Type Time Requirements. Select a labor type (like “Emergency Labor” or “On-Site Support”) and check the box to “Require Minimum Time Entry.” You can then enter the minimum time, such as 60 minutes.
Actual Time is the time the technician entered as spent on the task. Billable Time is the time calculated by Syncro after applying your specific minimum time and incremental rounding rules for that labor type.
Yes. While Syncro automatically handles the rounding, you have the option to edit and override both the calculated Billable Time and the Actual Time value directly within the Labor Log for ultimate flexibility and control.
