Today we’re highlighting two handy scripts developed by CyberDrain, now available in the Community Script Library.
These useful scripts are a must-have for setting clients up for remote work successfully, as they automate the manual process of setting up a machine to enable Wake on LAN as well as monitoring WOL status.
You can learn more about the scripts by checking out CyberDrain’s documentation. Search for the scripts in the Community Script Library using the titles below.
- Enable WOL on devices: https://www.cyberdrain.com/monitoring-with-powershell-monitor-and-enabling-wol-for-hp-lenovo-dell/. Enables WOL for Dell, Lenovo, and HP in both BIOS and the Operating system. Requires PowerShell 5.0 and PowerShellGet.
- Monitor – WOL Status for BIOS and OS: https://www.cyberdrain.com/monitoring-with-powershell-monitor-and-enabling-wol-for-hp-lenovo-dell/. Monitors WOL Status for Dell, Lenovo, and HP in both BIOS and the Operating system. Requires PowerShell 5.0 and PowerShellGet.
